A bit about my Art Background...
I majored in Art/Art History in School. I was NOT the "Teachers Pet" as most of you probably think...He hated me! I hated doing things "His way" and I rebelled all of the time, almost getting kicked out of his class on more than one occasion. But I do owe his teachings, and methods of madness a lot of credit. If he didn't HATE my work, and tell me time and time again that I should be better by now..I wouldn't be as good as I am today. He helped make me the artist that I am.
All of my Digital work...Self Taught. I would love to give someone else credit, but I just can't. I took a day off from life, and started messing around on the computer. Before I knew it..I was actually doing pretty well, and people admired my work so much, that I offered commissions, and actually made a profit. (Which is why I have my Deviant Art account.)
After that, it got hard, and easy. I have only changed my style once, and I love where it is at currently, but there's always room for inprovement. I do all of my work with a mouse. Hopefully by my Birthday in March, that will change to a tablet...We shall see..
I thought I should tell you a bit about myself before you begin searching through my art and commissions...(But if you want to skip this part, it's pretty long...I will allow it..XD)
I am 21 years old. (Almost 22 in March) I have a wonderful husband of almost two years..We actually met on Myspace. I was so nervous writing to him that I waited about a month just to hit the send message button. I got a response that night while he was online, and we haven't looked back since.
He is the love of my life, and has pushed me to reach my goals as a professional artist. We currently reside in Freeport, IL, and Love it here. This is the most beautiful city in the 'State-Line-Area'. Although, we are planning on Moving our lives near Chicago, we will always have a wonderful home here in Freeport.
We also have two amazing cats, Phillip, and Igloo. Phillip is a pure orange tabby cat, and Igloo is half Siamese/Tabby cross. She is my "baby" Gorgeous blue eyes, and white fur with black tabby markings on her legs. (Pictures in my Art Gallery on DA). I love them to death. They are so wonderful, but like all pets, we have run into some problems with them. Nothing we can't fix...
